Slumber Sock

Countless hours of trails and optimizations lead to a very small design without compromises in the use of advanced technology.

It contains a rechargeable battery with above-average safety circuits which are consisting of the following features:

- Over charge protection
- Over discharge protection
- Over and under temperature protection
- Short circuit protection

The battery can be charged wirelessly by simply placing the sensor in one of the charging docks of the base station. An anti-allergic acrylic window not only protects the SpO2 sensor mechanically it also offers an easy to clean solution. The temperature sensors are completely covered behind the position markers. Every “Slumber Sock” sensor contains a unique serial number which is used to identify data records. The firmware can be updated easily over the air via Bluetooth from the base station.

Base Station

The build in wireless power transmitter has charging coils in four charging docks to charge independent sensor module. LED’s on the charging docks inform about the actual charging status of each module.

- LED – off, no module in charging dock detected
- LED – yellow, module in pre-charge mode
- LED – red, module battery error (over temperature or not charging)
- LED – green blinking, module charging
- LED – green on, module fully charged and in trickle charge mode

The base station can be connected to a local LAN network with a ethernet cable or via WiFi where it can function as normal device or as an WiFi access point. In cases without WiFi infrastructure a P2P connection from a mobile device to the base station is also possible. All data from the “Slumber Sock” sensors can be stored on an SD card in the base station where the amount of stored data depends on the size of the SD card. Historical data from the SD card can be viewed on a mobile device with the Angels Guard app. This function is useful to provide detailed data for your child’s pediatrician in order to help diagnose hidden problems.
